Jason Moore's journey embodies the essence of service and resilience. With 23 years dedicated to the fire service, he ascended to the esteemed role of fire chief, a testament to his unwavering commitment and leadership. Hailing from a lineage of veterans, Jason proudly served in the United States Air Force, embodying the spirit of duty and sacrifice.
His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue academic excellence, earning a Bachelor's degree in fire science and two Master's degrees, one in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University and another in the Science of Management from Strayer University. Armed with expertise, Jason extended his passion for helping others beyond the realms of public safety. Since 2013, he has been a beacon of guidance as a small business consultant, igniting the entrepreneurial dreams of many by crafting strategic business and marketing plans.
Jason's impact transcends professional realms; he remains deeply embedded in his community's fabric. As an associate director of the Indiana University Red Lab and Past President of the Leadership Bloomington Monroe County Alumni Board, he continues to shape future leaders. Rooted in values of integrity, service, and excellence, Jason cherishes his role as a devoted husband to Jennifer and a loving father to three sons.
